The only sci-fi writer who truly understood where technology was going was Douglas Adams, and as we converge closer and closer to the world of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation, DNA's absense grows all the more painful.

@plsburydoughboy Wells's approach was different, but valid. Douglas really nailed the absurdity of technological systems and how we interact with them. I think about the Nutri-Mat machine when someone proposes an AI that'll know what you want for you.
