A vulnerability in WhatsApp allowed attackers to inject commercial spyware, developed by NSO Group, on to phones.
The spyware could be transmitted through a call, even if the call was unanswered.
It is unclear how many phones were targeted.

@sina @torproject Open an incognito mode tab, copy the URL of the paywalled article, search for it on Google (because they get a pass apparently), and open the link from the search results, and it'll give you the article without the wall
