For months now, I've been getting 50+ searches for my profile on LinkedIn.

One recruiter reached out to me for a start-up position, with a reach of millions, series-B raised, blah blah. My paraphrased response was, "Cloud computing and push metrics are bullshit. You're doing it all wrong; cloud is for suckers. Self host or don't host at all, and switch to pull metrics, not push."

I notice for the last three weeks, I've had < 15 searches on LinkedIn. Coincidence? 🤔

All this time, I thought putting on an aire of an ex-burn-out sufferer was sufficient to get people off my backs. Apparently, all I had to do was be a thought leader.
