A prominent computer scientist who has spent 20 years publishing academic papers on cryptography, privacy, and cybersecurity has gone incommunicado, had his professor profile, email account, and phone number removed by his employer Indiana University, and had his homes raided by the FBI. No one knows why.

We must demand that the extremely
wealthy pay their fair share. Period.

world is capitalism summed up in two
tweets.

I find it weird how many people refuse to believe we live in a racial and gender caste system whose wealthy white nobility control both major political parties.

White Americans are so heavily propagandized and so inclined to go along because they think they're proximal to power.

There’s an ongoing joke in Star Trek where replicator food is considered inferior to hand prepared meals.

Replicator rations are perfectly balanced, produce exactly what asked for down to the molecule. Nothing more, nothing less.

But it is soulless.

Anyway, thinking about AI.

My husband and I know this man. My husband taught his kids. He's an incredible sweet guy. He is in the country legally- he pays taxes, he's married to a US Citizen, he has no criminal record and now he's in ICE detention. For those who thought "it can't happen here" it is happening here. #FreeKarim instagram.com/p/DHzAZhxJHcF/?i

Instagram🏛 Historic Flemington, NJ on Instagram: "Karim Daoud has been detained by ICE. A familiar and friendly face to anyone who dined at Blue Fish Grill between 2011-2022, Karim has been in the country for over 20 years. He is a family man and an upstanding member of his community. The following is from the Facebook page “Free Karim” - “Karim is not a criminal. He has no criminal history at all. Karim has always worked and paid taxes in the United States. Anyone who knows Karim knows his undying love for the United States, that he is a loving husband, an incredibly devoted father, and a well-loved and upstanding community member. One can even see tee-shirts and cars with bumper stickers around Flemington with his face on them, accompanied by a simple statement that sums Karim up well, “Be Kind”. Karim was detained after an appointment to pick up documents to fulfill his work authorization requirement and to remain in the United States as he has since he has been in this country. When he arrived at the Intensive Supervision Appearance Program office, he was informed that there had been a mistake and he had to go to ICE. Once at the Newark ICE facility, Karim was apprehended. He had gone there willingly under the pretense of clearing up a “mistake”. Let that sink in. Karim has been in a detention center in NJ but is now slated to be moved across the country, making it harder for his lawyer and his family to fight his case and bring him home: where he belongs.” Please call, email or write in support of our amazing friend."1,082 likes, 63 comments - flemingtonfocus on March 29, 2025: "Karim Daoud has been detained by ICE. I went out to test drive a Volkswagen id.4 today and I was impressed.

I still remember how the first electric cars left so much to be desired, but not anymore.

I remember the talk about range anxiety, but this new version had a range of 570 km.

It was very quiet on the road too. And the fit and finish looked stunning — no Tesla panel gaps or clunky doors.

I wonder how anyone dares by a gasoline car these days — the resell value of those cars must suffer badly when gas stations start closing.

Billionaires don't 'create jobs' - consumer demand creates jobs. Billionaires just hoard the profits those jobs generate.
