I don't want my main Mastodon account to be within mastodon.social because I do believe that Federation is an important enough goal of the Mastodon project to actively support personally in principle.

(That said though I do find it aesthetically pleasing to have at least one userhandle I control here.)

Hi fediverse guys!

There is some good news that I'm going to tell you.
mastodon.cloud was very unstable in the past.
We are the new admin ( @Knzk @imbsky @nzws ) of mastodon.cloud and we suggested to migrate servers etc to TheAdmin.
Just at that time many database related problems were found, and we fixed all now!

@FerdiFZ I kinda think it is. I've glanced at Valentin Ouvrard's Twitter account and I don't see anything in his bio or his TL about mastodon.cloud. I wish he had offered the instance to a volunteer admin rather than suspend/abandon a large userbase.
