Just as a heads-up, don’t use PMs/DMs on Mastodon, and if you have to never share any private information.
Admins of sending and receiving instances can read those, as there is no end-to-end encryption. Even if you trust the admins, instance ownership could change or hackers or government could get in.
Use different tools designed specifically for this.
Y'know, you should all take a moment to read this amazing piece from The Oatmeal. Seriously. Read it. Now. Please. http://theoatmeal.com/comics/believe
I've found my new jam for this week... How about a slave music / hard rock crossover? Been listening to this on loop all morning. It's a bit rough around the edges, but the mix of styles is soooooo good! And the vocals are amazing...
Interesting... Steam is removing Greenlight in the Spring. And raining developer fees. And making it a per-title fee. Between $200 and (gulp!) $5000. Hmmm... This could be great. Or it could be a disaster for indies...
So, as I' am a poor sheep that has to follow trends, I downloaded the Vote1 app... It's pretty accurate. I'd never heard of De Leonism, and would have characterized myself as an anarcho-collective if pushed (which the app does suggest at least). https://t.co/mWGFr4q3ut
Lovely fan project this.... Megaman in glorious 2.5D. :)
I always find great and interesting games thanks to Warp Door. Here's their January roundup: http://warpdoor.com/2017/02/02/warp-doors-january-2017-round-up/
One hashtag I really would like to do here is #16x16. It's something I used to do back when birbsite was lighthearted. You let folks know you're doing a #16x16, and then you sit there an do super-low-res art of the suggestions folks send your way.
If anyone else wants to use the hashtag on their own, that'd be awesome. It's a lot of fun.
