I suppose an #introduction is in order. I write a lot about #comics and comics fandom. My book on #Webcomics was nominated for Eisner Award in 2021. I also do the "Incidental Iconography" column for Jack Kirby Collector and I blog at KleefeldonComics.com.
I've got a day job, too, but you don't want to hear about that.

Although Cory Doctorow writes here against billionaire apologists, I don't quite get where he ends with this. It's kind of this weird mix of "they don't have the power to cheat death so take solace in that" and "they're going to destroy all of us if regular people without any power don't stop them (somehow?)"

In the past 40 years, I've yet to be familiar with an actor prior to their being announced as the next Doctor. But Gatwa's got a number of awards under his belt including a BAFTA, so I'm looking forward to seeing what he does in the role! https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-61371123
