Just finished "West with the Night" by Beryl Markham. Amazing book by Africa's first female Bush pilot (and the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic from East to West). Beautifully written, not too long and a window into British Colonialism as perceived from the inside (and before WWII). Recommended.
