"Ofwel werkt Windows op uw systeem, ofwel werkt Windows niet op uw systeem." - Lieven Scheire

Very funny to see the reactions here on the news that birdie Jack has. πŸ˜…

Hi Fediverse πŸ‘‹

this is for everyone interested in supporting switching.software πŸ™‚

Here is my proposal on how to reorganize and improve the codebase of the website:

I would really appreciate your feedback - comment right here or on the issue πŸ—¨οΈ

Also, who would like to join the effort? And don't worry, we will figure out the "how" together - soon after the proposal is community-approved 😁

I'm considering running openbsd in a VM, running unbound on that, and working-up something like pihole using the openbsd httpd server . . .

Is that as dumb as my insomniac mind thinks it sounds as I just typed it out?

Is there already a project that does that that I'm overlooking, aside from pihole in a VM/qemu?

I just lost six Atom 330 machines to bad brown-outs thanks to the "non-existent" climate-change polar vortex events. So my options are limited until I can afford new hardware.

So my system is entirely set up in English, yet some episodes are described in Arab, and sometimes closed captions default to Danish.

This is the state of the art of software development, by a company that surely doesn't lack resources. Yet some people think it would be wise to release software that decides who should go to prison. What a time to be alive.

Old mine site turned into cultural center. C-Mine in Genk (Belgium) is nice. Oh and there's an exhibition on Tim Burton ending in 2 weeks.

One could also try to read and type the correct command to start with... *adds sudo*

I suppose that the reason why, in this course, this Ansible Tower lab is after the Troubleshooting lab, is to help you through the bugs in the installation..

This rant on the state of modern programming also explains why I prefer #OpenBSD and try to do everything using text-mode apps.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 kinda rocks, or I wouldn't have spent most of my weekend on it.

Hello Assembled People of European Mastodon! I work at @eff on international copyright. You might have heard of , the EU proposal to require Β© filters on sharing sites.

We're really worried that this could affect services like ActivePub/Mastodon instances, opening them up to lawsuits or requiring expensive filters.

The key vote is on Wednesday -- please call or write your MEP and ask them to vote against to protect the future of the internet! saveyourinternet.eu/
