Site.js version 17.7.0 released
Updates the version of Owncast installed to 0.0.11 (this is the version that has fediverse features).
To setup and run your own Owncast server:
1. Install Site.js on a VPS (this is one terminal command)
2. Run: `site enable --owncast`
3. There is no three. You now have a server with auto-configured TLS running Owncast. Stream away! :)
Hi fediverse! Boosts appreciated on this one.
I’m part of a co-op building a platform for artists to sell art without getting exploited. I’ve been working on it for a while but there’s a lot of work to do and I could use some help. A ton of the main features are in place, but there’s still some big gaps and a lot of polish left before it can launch.
The platform is fully open source and developed in the open. It’s built on Phoenix/Elixir and Tailwindcss. Our co-op is already incorporated and established and it’s open to members that want to actually commit but you don’t need to be a member to contribute or help.
Does this sound interesting? I’d love some help! I’m also happy to answer questions. And no, you don’t need to know Elixir already. It’s pretty easy to learn for the things you’d be using it for. Even some design help would be welcome. Feel free to reply here or DM me!
Boost & share is appreciated!

@zkat 👋 I'm building Dropserver, an application server/platform for hosting personal web services.
No blockchains or anything web3, just an attempt to give users control over the code that they interact with on the internet, without throwing the whole client-server model out the window.
(It's still very new and far from generally usable)

my Japanese-inspired programming language, Haku, is coming along nicely. I try to work on it a little every day, and I have now the drafts for the parser, abstract syntax tree, AST reader and a Scheme emitter, as well as an input source reader that can handle vertical text.
I wonder why anyone would consider using this language. It is hard to write programs in and there are no advantages to using it as it is quite basic. But creating the language is a lot of fun.
I just launched a new art project in the form of a Mastodon bot that will slowly tell a story over the course of three weeks by posting a drawing every day. You can follow it at @dailystory
The bot post the first image on Monday April 12 and post a new image everyday at 6 pm UTC (as long as nothing breaks).
I hope you all enjoy it.
