After working on the recent album cover, I've gone down a bit of a fir tree rabbit hole.

V1 is using free textures I found. V2 and V3 are using bark textures I photoscanned and tiled. Models were made using Speedtree and rendered in Cycles.

Random tree render. Encountered some pretty severe slowdowns when using hi res (8K+) textures, would be good to get some more eyes on it.
