(It's baffling to me that Apple continues to buy hashflags and ads on Twitter. Every other ad there is internet chum. Totally against the values at this point. Was Apple buying slots on Tucker Carlson?)
@michaelsteeber it’s probably less drama then pulling out, and having EM throw a tantrum publicly
@whatthecj I don't think that's a good enough reason
@michaelsteeber I agree, and it’s baffling, but it’s the only reason I can think of other than some long standing contract they are stuck in? Definitely strange
@michaelsteeber 100% agreed.
I'd say there are still plenty of well-meaning, potentially creative tech enthusiasts on Twitter, and it's not their fault.
@michaelsteeber Uhh, because Twitter is by far the biggest tech influencer platform aside from YouTube…that is why.
@dominocollege @michaelsteeber Of the many things Apple is, pragmatic is at the top.
@michaelsteeber I’ve seen #WWDC used more, but am also following both just in case #fomo
@michaelsteeber I followed both and it feels like I’m seeing more posts tagged with #WWDC. But #WWDC23 is the official hashtag on Twitter so it seems logical to use it here too.
@michaelsteeber I only follow #WWDC and I get both. So you don't need to follow both tags.
@michaelsteeber Following both. Probably using both, too.
