It is proven! I am nspeaks on Keybase: https://keybase.io/nspeaks/sigchain#9f880e53d2d89120a1ff4479a9698507f698ebebc2ce1530d584cc55763af17f0f
So the rollback of fee-hike in JNU is only partial that is the basic room rent. The bulk of the hike is still there; i.e. the 10 percent annual arbitrary rise, the high utility charges which were nil earlier are still there. So are the moral codes on dressing and the curfews imposed. The rollback shown by media houses is a mere eyewash, so that students stop protesting, and the outside people supporting us lose their interest in the issue. Protests will continue #JNUProtests #feesmustfall
All those folks who are migrating from birdsite to the Mastodon Fediverse, please stop bringing all the bad practices like verified tickmarks out here. There is nothing great about being verified out here. Your username is specific to a particular instance (server). There is no point in using a verifed tickmark because a particular username can be used in another instance (server). And it is impossible to prevent that.
Terrified, terrified about tomorrow and what it might bring after the #AyodhyaVerdict and the path this nation will take.
Terrified about the lack of SPG protection for the Gandhi’s. We all know how it ended when VP Singh reduced Rajiv Gandhi’s security..
I never imagined my nation would one day be seeing such terrible, scary days. How easily some ppl are destroying it..
I pray everyone stays safe to overcome this dark period.. stay alive to fight another day ...

List of people who died due to Demonetization Disaster caused by Modi Government.. Let's mourn their deaths on 3 years of Demonetisation...
I'm trying to keep track of the mass migrations to Mastodon that have happened.
I think it started with:
- early adopters, programmers, FOSS people
- tons of peeps in Japan
- furry community moving off Twitter
- LGBTQ+ folks leaving twitter
- people who saw that polygon article (me) or heard about it when it started getting mentioned on hackernews
- comics/artists leaving twitter
- NSFW blogs leaving Tumblr
- sex workers
- and now, Indian politics Twitter users
Am I missing any big moments?
