The cat's good behavior might have just been a bad cold.

If time was going in reverse, would we know it?

I apparently make a soup by making a salad first. It kinda feels like I'm cheating.

A microwave is involved in the middle.

I got zero responses last time I hit up the Fediverse offering paid creative work, but I'm not giving up!

Some features being worked on require iconography. And while we could use an icon library or something like Fiverr it'd be nice to work with an illustrator on the Fediverse who focuses on icons to have something that is custom.

This is paid work, so please boost and tell your friends.

Feel free to message me on the fediverse or email me: gabek@real-ity.com

I found a pen in my hand today that I thought I had lost last week.

Interesting story about School Choice in rural areas that don't have secondary stories. I definitely come down on keeping it public & improving ALL publuc ed, but it's always good to get perspective.

Why does my downstairs karaoke on Friday night at 2 PM? In some areas, that could get you killed.

one of the cultural legacies of Nazi Germany nobody talks about because it is COMPLETELY background noise, like, absolute unmarked unremarkable common-sensical mainstream ideology, is the Nazi perspective on art — a fashy reimagination of European art history where Good Art is maudlin, feel-good landscape and portrait painting that strives to be visually "realistic" yet have nothing of substance to say about the society in which it was made, and also developments in Good Art stopped being made at the turn of the 20th century or earlier.

your average 2020 viewer has the exact same reaction to Fountain (1917, attr. Marcel Duchamp) that people had when it was first withdrawn from display in outrage. art kept moving but public perception of art froze. the fascist conception of "degenerate art," calculated to freeze out Jewish, racialized, working-class, Marxist, and queer artistic influences on public culture, continues to operate on a massive scale.
