Ben Zanin<p>After a few days of using the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/FiiO" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>FiiO</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/BTR17" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BTR17</span></a> Bluetooth/USB DAC/headphone amp, I have a few thoughts about how well it fits into the design envelope for which it was intended, and also a couple about the tasks I wish it had been designed to tackle. I can fairly fault FiiO and the device design team for faults in the former, but definitely not the latter.</p><p>It&#39;s the size of two Zippo lighters, has an internal battery good for ~8-10 hours of playback, and can run purely from USB power - two C ports.</p>
