Ross of Ottawa<p>A little <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/sideProject" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>sideProject</span></a> I play with is making little <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/battery" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>battery</span></a> "surrogates" or dummy batteries. They let you debug circuit power issues or design goals, or let you make a battery-powered device into a much longer-lived device by using a larger battery or power supply. </p><p>They've been very useful for me, so I share them a bit too. </p><p>I've just recently made a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/CR1632" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>CR1632</span></a> sized one which is quite a challenge to fabricate. It's very tiny with tinier routing channels.</p>
