The kind of ring I proposed with. In the center, there are 3 gems above 3 polyhedral dice. The gems and dice are flanked by a dragon and a unicorn, which each have a small gem in their back. The ring pictured is gold with emerald gems.

A similar ring to the one I bought. Instead of 3 large gems flanked by a unicorn and a dragon, it has one large gem flanked 2 d20s (with the 20 face up as God intended), and the gem and dice are guarded by 2 dragons on the outside. Each dragon has a gem in its back. The pictured ring is silver with citrine gems.

#Hello! I am an #rpg nerd, with extensive experience as a #dnd #DM and #Gamemaster of other rpgs. I do lean #OSR otherwise, even though I enjoy the crunch of #5e, #Shadowrun, #Pathfinder, and #GURPS. I went to a #jazz show today with my #fiancée. They used plastic mutes that were shaped like hats.

On the drive home, we argued whether their mutes were hats or whether their hats were mutes. We are still arguing.

Which one of us is right? Are the mutes designed to also be plastic hats, or are the plastic hats designed to also be mutes?
