Für Pass benötigt man zwei Apps und beide werden nicht mehr weiterentwickelt:<br><br><ul><li> Im Oktober haben die Maintainer von Android Password Store angekündigt, dass die Software nicht mehr weiterentwickelt wird. Im F-Droid-Store ist #<a class="" href="https://hub.tschlotfeldt.de/search?tag=APS" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">APS</a> schon nicht mehr zu finden.</li><li> Zudem haben die Entwickler:innen von OpenKeychain haben ebenfalls angekündigt, dass sie das Projekt nicht mehr weiterentwickeln werden. Sie versprechen aber, das sie bei Bedarf neue Releases mit gefixten Sicherheitslücken bereitstellen werden. Autocrypt and also the QR code verification (labs-feature in Delta) is compatible between Delta Chat and K-9.</p>

Saustrup<p>I'm testing alternatives to the Gmail app on <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/Android" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Android</span></a>, and right now <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/K9" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>K9</span></a> looks like worthy opponent. With the help of <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/OpenKeychain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OpenKeychain</span></a> it supports <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/PGP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PGP</span></a> / <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/GPG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GPG</span></a> and the overall look is reasonable. There do appear to be a couple of shortcoming - folder management is a little off; I have a handful of Inbox subfolders, but these aren't shown under the Inbox - all folders must be traversed in the folder list. Bulk folder management is unfortunately not possible either, which means that setting folder priority can take a long time. I'm using <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/Thunderbird" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Thunderbird</span></a> 's "keep folder structure when archiving" feature, which creates a lot of structure that I don't need to see every day. Also, it would appear that this "keep structure" feature doesn't exist for K-9.</p><p>Any other suggestions for Android mail clients that support PGP? Paid is fine, as long as it's worth it :-)</p>

Läuft auf den ersten Blick geschmeidig, würde ich sagen.</p><p>Der Webmail-Client merkt sich das PW für eine eingestellte Zeit, der lokale Donnervogel anscheinend bis zum Schließen der App.</p><p>Jetzt noch <a href="https://freundica.de/search?tag=FairEmail" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FairEmail</span></a> + <a href="https://freundica.de/search?tag=OpenKeyChain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OpenKeyChain</span></a> auf dem Phone testen, dann könnte das eventuell eine Alternative oder Ergänzung zu Tuta werden.</p>

Christian Pietsch 🍑<p><a href="https://suma-ev.social/tags/k9mail" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>k9mail</span></a> kept crashing on me when trying to forward e-mails. </p><p>After I forced my <a href="https://suma-ev.social/tags/FDroid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FDroid</span></a> to upgrade it from the latest stable version 6.603 to the latest beta 6.717, was able to forward mails again.</p><p>Now I'm wondering why this is not the recommended version. The changelog says the beta version fixes a crash caused by <a href="https://suma-ev.social/tags/OpenKeychain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OpenKeychain</span></a> 6 which I am using as a <a href="https://suma-ev.social/tags/PGP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PGP</span></a> provider.</p><p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://fosstodon.org/@k9mail" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>k9mail</span></a></span></p>

The good news is that there is already a patch for <a href="https://mas.to/tags/OpenKeychain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OpenKeychain</span></a>. Also, <a href="https://mas.to/tags/k9mail" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>k9mail</span></a> already got a patch in, protecting its lf from exceptions.
