internet yesterday was kinda ass due to working in the China office, so didn't update yesterday... Some new progress, really love the AdwTabBar, but still thinking about a good search indicator

second* typing test result in Keypunch on my new Framework 13
very nice keyboard, but it'll take some getting used to after using a standalone mechanical keyboard for so long
*the first test was kinda scuffed and I got like 60 WPM with mistakes
Some experimental search with Red Hat Security API (because will need to use tmr for work lol)
Going to sleep
Nearly got nothing to do during the work so making my own app... Mostly completed the settings, still some small changes need to be tweaked
Okay this is cool, this lets you to apply Firefox GNOME theme by one click:
https://flathub.org/apps/dev.qwery.AddWater
Also a bonus, this is the theme I used for Steam:
Je viens de passer les polices de caractères de ma #Fedora aux polices #Adwaita, ce qui sera le défaut dans #Gnome 48 de mars prochain.
Les changements sont subtils mais notables par rapport à Cantarell, que j'aimais tellement pas que j'utilisais toujours la police ubuntu.
La police monospace (gros usage quand on fait du dev) est très agréable, meilleure que Source Code Pro, voire même que Ubuntu mono.
Je vais sans doute rester sur cette police par défaut dorénavant.
I am today years old to know that there is two new fonts for GNOME called Adwaita Sans which is based on a variation of Inter and Adwaita Mono which is a modified version of Iosevka:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/adwaita-fonts
Also it seems that this font is going to be in GNOME 48:
# pacman -S adwaita-fonts
Hi, Adwaita Sans!
The new default font on GNOME, which replaces Cantarell after...maybe 14 or 15 years?
Also, there is the new monospace font Adwaita Mono!
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gsettings-desktop-schemas/-/merge_requests/89
After a false start, I'm now actually using GNOME's new Adwaita font! (needed to restart my machine)
It feels very familiar coming from Cantarell, so I'm happy that it's not going to be a large adjustment.
I almost feel like I am writing from the future, already using the "new" #gnome #adwaita fonts, Adwaita Sans and Adwaita Mono.
Adwaita Sans is a variant of Inter, and Adwaita Mono, the Menlo style of Iosevka.
So, they're not really new fonts, but I'm still excited.

Finally made some progress on a small #gtk utility using #gjs
Still in very early stage development
Written in #TypeScript
uses #adwaita widgets.

Hey gnome folks!
I have some free time and want to start out learning to build libadwaita apps. Where do I even start? Is there anyone here who started gnome app development recently and still remembers how they got started? Or some veterans with a good understanding of recent best practices for gnome app development?
I am cooking something. Not sure, where exactly will it stop. But I would love to see my Certificate Expiry dates in my notifications before I have them in my e-mails.
You actually don't need 3rd party monitoring services for it.
