smallsolar<p>Bad News, in my attempts to transfer the working image to the emmc I think I managed to erase something key and now I'm stuck in a boot loop, might be an issue with dtb.</p><p>I'm going to chalk this one up to a win as I got armbian working, turns out <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/aliexpress" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>aliexpress</span></a> properly fake the specs (though no suprise there I guess), it has a different CPU and only 1Gb of ram and is based on old tech. At some point I'll try and recover it but I think I'll close this <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/sideproject" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>sideproject</span></a> for now.</p><p>Would I recommend these devices for Linux? I don't think I'd go out of my way to purchase one, but if you came across one say for free or going to scrap then there seems to be enough support out there to make a cute little Linux box. A bit like a rubbish raspberry pi...</p><p>8/8</p>
