@GossiTheDog I bought a Copilot+ PC (Surface Laptop 7) eight months ago. The bits to use it for programming are still not available. Massive fail. Eight months.

@AinsleyLowbeer woah, I was hovering the buy button on a Copilot+PC for the same reason but never followed through. Kind a glad I didn’t. :)
@mikaellundin Other than the lack of promised NPU support in C#, it's a good laptop. Battery lasts a long time, the screen and keyboard are nice, and I like it. I just want the bits for the Microsoft Copilot Runtime and Microsoft.Windows.AI.Generative namespace. Promised forever, not delivered yet.
@AinsleyLowbeer @GossiTheDog how's the dev experience for arm compared to macos or Linux?
I've heard Ms is kinda screwing vendors by not providing good docs or dedicating staff to helping people ship products
@CwalkPinoy @GossiTheDog
All the Microsoft tools have ARM versions that work exactly the same as on x86/x64. Microsoft has decent docs, better than most, but they have such a vast corpus of work and the rate of change is so great that it's hard to keep up.
