Space is starting to look like the better mining operation
Mining in space might be less environmentally harmful than mining asteroids on Earth.
Space should not be made commercial.
The same rules as what we have for Antarctica should apply: it belongs to no one.
I was under the impression that many countries have territorial claims to Antarctica. With respect to space, what about commercial satellites, of which there are many. De-orbit them all? No more Starlink? XM radio?
>Seven countries (Argentina, Australia, Chile, France, New Zealand, Norway, and the United Kingdom) maintain territorial claims in Antarctica, but the United States and most other countries do not recognize those claims.
Antarctica has been protected as a place for peaceful scientific exploration since the late 50s.

Lower Earth orbit is already a dumpster fire due to commercialism. I don't want that same ruinous money-grubbing to expand.
