Another day, another company used a popular YouTuber's voice without taking permission. Of course, shitty AI is part of it. They stole voice to build their shity products. Why is YouTube not stopping these thieves? Google is too busy to block Adblockers, but they do nothing to stop AI companies. Try uploading a video on YouTube with a popular song playing in the background and see what the YouTube copyright algorithm does to your video (it gets blocked because of threat of lawsuit from music companies). Why can't they do this for human voices? There was even story that said: Police play Disney music to prevent video of them on patrol being posted online.

I think all YouTube channels should operate from the EU zone. In that zone, there are consistent laws to prevent this kind of abuse, and most tech companies are afraid of fines. I'm not sure if non-EU residents can register a company in EU zone. Even if you register a company in the EU, it will complicate your tax situation. So don't take this as legal advice. Ha!

@nixCraft But i think the EU is pretty far ahead of america in this regard. EU law enforcement is also not scared by the might of US big tech companies. Seeing the lawsuites filed against Apple and Microsoft

@UlmerMan @nixCraft I recently saw a post that for EU to catch up to double down on a single big market - like the USA. Which means uniform regulations.
Tragically, supported by American (and possibly Russian and other) big money the people are being told the EU and regulations are the problem.
