It's missing a camera, but it has an anti-glare coating that is apparently quite good, works in portrait, has a stand with adjustable height, and multiple inputs. Seems like a much better deal than Apple's 5K.

@arroz I would argue that even the shittiest 5k display is a better deal than Apple’s display…
@celsosantos The Samsung one seems bad. It’s a “smart” monitor and reviews aren’t great. The Apple one has a really good build quality that the others don’t. I had an LG for a few years and it kept wobbling as I typed.
But I agree the Apple display was always a product that confused me. Too little, too late, too expensive. It’s hard to justify compared to the LG or this new Asus.
@arroz @celsosantos Apple products "don't exist", panels are usually LG and of very low repairability
@luisfcorreia @celsosantos True, but they’re made to Apple specs. But the build quality is amazing. The aluminum case feels like a solid metal block, totally different than the plastic crap other products are made of. I had to pick up my LG by the stand because if I grabbed it by the sides I would break the panel or at least it seems so. You can grab the Apple one any way you want and nothing bends and creaks.
Still, the price is too high. Especially the height adjustable stand.
