“So tired”: Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ prices increase by up to 25 percent in October
Not even ad tiers are safe as Disney looks to coax people into bundle packages.

Cable TV is dead! Long live cable TV!
Not enough. I still won't watch their crap.
What I have is expensive enough.
@arstechnica even more reason to not subscribe to anything and spend time outdoors instead :)
@arstechnica when something is affordable people don’t bother considering illegal options. When something is expensive then…. They will find another way to see the content.
It’s not companies that decide what the people can or can’t watch. People will see their favourite series and movies one way or the other. Deal with it!
@arstechnica ay ay, captain!
Can't state this enough....I love my Plex server. It may be illegal and questionably immoral but these companies who expect everyone to shell out increasing amounts of cash quarter over quarter to compensate for them not considering the cost of running a service......well I'm playing the world's smallest violin right here. You see if they hadn't been money grubbing bastards who wanted to take their content ball and go home instead of playing nice with the Netflix's of the world.....well they would be were Sony is right now. Making serious bank by licensing their content out. Sure Sony is making some REALLY bad movies that have tanked, but they haven't committed their company into a sinkhole that is streaming infrastructure. I'm subscribed to to _A_ single streaming service. Have been since they were giving out DVD's. And that is the only company that gets my money.
