why would taking rights away from teens be something adults do in their interest -- clearly, it is not for the benefit of these young people, so whose benefit is it for?
@libramoon @br00t4c Not to be an alarmist, but, if passed, "The federal government is running a trial of technologies that could be used for [age verification] this purpose, including things like asking all users to use a digital ID, existing government documents like drivers licences, facial analysis and other methods" to keep users under 16 off their platforms.
so it's not about the kids at all, but about disenabling privacy
