Has anyone used warp - https://www.warp.dev?
I don’t understand/model:
- how it augments the command line interface (CLI).
- Or does it replace the CLI?
- Or is it all of the above (AND)?
- Or is it something else entirely?
@dahukanna I'm using it but mainly as a terminal replacement, don't really yse all the other stuff, I like the way I can more easily search and find commands and select the text
@dahukanna This is the model: https://siliconangle.com/2022/04/05/startup-warp-raises-23m-reinvent-venerable-command-line-terminal/
(They’re going to try and grow as rapidly as they can and then exit.)
@aral thanks aral for the link & (w)ow! -
“Warp’s aiming to revamp venerable developer terminal, which it says is long overdue.”- says who?
“Although terminal used by software developers every day to write, build, run & deploy code, it’s relic of the past & hasn’t been meaningfully improved in > 40 years.”- says who?
Who’s “improving” human physiology & DNA “code” interface that’s even more archaic i.e. typically 5 fingered hand, 5 toed foot, 2 hands/arms/feet/legs etc
