@conor BTW, is there anything I can try / do that would be helpful for you in reviewing the kernel patches prior to you getting your board?
@conor I'm running the Debian image from https://forum.rvspace.org/t/visionfive-2-debian-image-december-released/1097 - so far all seems to work well (except the GPU, which still seems like the software support is still early, but I don't think that matters for these patches).
I have noticed network throughput sometimes drop very low running apt install (like, 10KB/s) but I don't know if that could have been caused by the server, something getting bottlenecked on my slow SD card, or something else.
@conor Usually on my ARM system I get 8MB/s (a Jetson AGX Xavier, probably a bit more powerful than the VF2, maxing out my connection). On the VF2 it's generally about 1MB/s but then there's these drops down to 10KB/s occasionally
