I am 40 and I vow to keep better care of my health because I intend to outlive this shit.
After I vented this morning I did about twenty minutes of yoga and then went for a walk.
@misc this! We are apparently at a high water mark for health care given what's about to happen to vaccines etc, so take care of yourself!
@misc Doesn't matter how good your health is if you're accidentally killed in a riot, or some nation wide disaster that kills tons of people.
Always possible in unstable times.
Make sure you don't skip leg day so you can gtfo if shit hits the fan.
@misc I'm 72 and I don't think I will.

(But also, I feel you. If everything hurts, it can be impossible some days to move. But do stretch if you can!)
@misc I am older and I don't think I can outlive the supreme court justices. :(
@misc My opa who lived to 96 and my father who will be 96 next year both believe(d) strongly that a long life is it's own reward and also a great way to get back the taxes and losses that were extracted from you during your younger years.
@misc
I'm 70 and my husband and i said the exact thing to each other this morning. Also, get our healthcare 'To Do' items done before January, just in case... this is NOT the time to continue putting off medical procedures, tests and screenings, checkups, and vaccines.
@misc I'm in my 60s and feeling the opposite.
@misc Oooh!!! I love this energy! Thanks! I need to write it on my whiteboard today.
