i had a dream last night which probably means I slept well because I rarely dream. in any case, Selena Gomez and I fell in love, wrote and recorded what was considered by many the greatest art pop album of all time. Some time after the album I got cancer and died. At some point too she was pregnant but not sure what happened to fetus. After my death, Selena wrote and recorded what was by many considered the greatest pop/emo/metal album of all time. Selena either ODs or commits suicide. unclear.
this dream brought to you by an absolutely shit Selena Gomez song coming on my wife's radio Sunday night, I guess. One of those songs that might have been ok as a tiktok version but was at least twice as long as it needed to be. I don't remember the name or how long it was but by then end you are like "are these really the only words to this song"
just in case this seems insensitive to Selena: I too have bipolar. although from what I understand, mine is not as severe as hers.
also, unless I die in the war against fascists, I will definitely die of cancer. both of my parents have it. my brother is younger than me and has already had it. hell, I might have had it for years. in high school they called me Wolverine because I used to take absolute beatings on the basketball court and soccer field and never missed a beat.
head trauma seems to trigger an absolutely berserker level of fight in me but unfortunately concussions do have long-term consequences. one reason I no longer play contact sports
of course that would make me Deadpool and not Wolverine but I think the rage issues were part of the Wolverine story...
@musicman I don't think I've ever heard a Selena Gomez song that is anything more than barely palatable. , This is a shame, really, because her immense talent shines through despite that. I also have bipolar disorder.
@pilchard I couldn't tell you anything about any of her songs, other than the one I heard on Sunday was lyrically devoid of...really much of anything at all. She was great in Only Murders in the Building, tho
@musicman indeed she was. Love that show. Wanting more!
