Loved the chemistry between these 2 for years.

Now you know why they call me Q.
@nocontexttrek "omelette du fromage"
@nocontexttrek I know I may be alone in this, but I never liked Q. I mean, I never liked the idea of Q in the series (and others) at all. I found Q and all episodes where he appeared totally annoying and grating on my nerves. In my eyes, the Star Trek canon would be better if Q had never been introduced.
But hey, that's just me. As far as I understand, many enjoy this theme and these episodes, and so be it. Just not for me.
[update: typo fix]
@jyrgenn You're not alone but I will say I think his character was intended to have that effect, which then means it's successful writing and acting?
@nocontexttrek Writing successful in making me like the series less? If that was the intention, it was successful.
Should I re-watch TNG, I will skip the episodes with Q in them; I stopped watching Picard after season 1 because I learned Q is a major part of season 2. I skipped the episode Q-Less on re-watching DS9.
I don't think this was the intended effect of the Q character.
