Just found out that I can easily upload the video files of my locally recorded Owncast streams to my webhoster and link to these files via markdown in the Owncast channel description to create VOD archives comparable to those on Twitch. 
This way visitors of my Owncast instance can directly watch the VODs on the website and get an impression of my streams even if I'm not currently streaming.

Zum selber streamen ja. Schaue aber noch Twitch und chatte vereinzelt auch.
