I got married yesterday and yeah. The registrars were absolutely lovely about it and cared about using people’s names, but legally had to say “wife” to describe me.
It was perfect, mistakes and all, but it’d be nice to have marital benefits while being seen as a person, rather than specifically a meat mech with tits.
