No. Military officers are prohibited from obeying illegal orders. There was some uncertainty about that for a while, but they started to make it clear, as I noted in this tweet I posted June 9, 2020.

The pretty obvious flaw here is that the officer has to believe that the order is illegal. And a sizeable portion of our military is made of Trumpers/"conservatives".
And not every member has to agree, just some, and then at the very least we still have a huge damn problem on our hands.
