The key takeaway from the Signal scandal is that no matter where in this planet or which industry you work, incompetent men incessantly fail upwards while being excused for their most awful mistakes, while top performing women get harassed for sending emails.

What stage of capitalism is it when companies report record profits, wealth inequity grows, and taxes are cut on corporations and the wealthy while the WSJ suggests you could save money by starving yourself and your family?

— The Espionage Act contains a provision that criminalizes the disclosure of national secrets through gross negligence.
— The law does not require that the info be classified, it refers simply to national defense information.
Arrest them. Immediately.
As Canadians and Europeans, we grumble a lot. Often for very good reason.
But I think why the US Administration hates and fears both Canada and the EU so much is because they are terrified that one day, their own people will realise that it is possible to live in a society that:
-Takes care of its sick
-Gives people dominion over their own bodies.
-Gives new parents time to adjust to a new baby
- Makes hate speech a crime
-Takes the concept of the rule of law seriously
-Embraces human rights
