The aurora in California, north of Los Angeles. Away from lights, it was easily visible to the naked eye, with an eerie pink hue. One image is to the south and shows the aurora goes overhead and fades away to the south. I even managed to get a nice picture of Ursa Major with the lights.

Sky with pink an purple hues over a roof line with some trees visible over the roof. The colors are uneven and fade to darker near the top. Some stars dot image and shine through the aurora.
Dark black foreground at the bottom with a row of bright lights just above that. There is a blue-white glow from the town and some low stratus clouds just above the town. Above that rises the Aurora Borealis lights with purple and pink. There are varying shades creating stripes in the colors. It all fades to a dark sky at the top, and there are stars that are shining through the image.
Ursa Major (The Big Dipper) sits vertically in the middle of a mostly dark sky. The handle is at the top and the "cup" of the dipper is at the bottom, with the opening facing to the right. The sky is dark, but Aurora Borealis is visible with shades of purple that get brighter towards the bottom right.
The top has light red, fading to the black sky with even darker hills at the bottom. The aurora clearly goes overhead, but fades away in the middle to a clear dark sky.

And here I was excited we could see them in the SF Bay Area!

@Frances_Larina Yes, I was surprised to see them at all. I caught them with the camera first, and then started to see them and in the darker area, they were quite clear.
