If you recall just days ago, it failed after being proposed under "suspension of the rules" i.e. a special way to pass non-controversial bills with 2/3 vote. It gathered only 245 yes votes at the time, not enough to pass under the special rules.
It's scheduled to come up for a vote under normal rules next week which would mean it only would require a simple majority to pass, something it easily has in the current form. Call your Reps today and pressure them to not give Trump more power!
