I say this as history has shown this as we look at stuff like the October of 1917 & the Commune of 1871.

I point to the US Army because there is evidence that if was declared, they wouldn't partake into the order and simply go home. And they could as well side with a popular revolution for change like .

Where are my my evidence from? Well, was the best case example of it!

There is very good reason to believe that a significant number of the would side with a popular against the government.

Many of them are principled types, and if called upon to enforce , would simply go home.

Historically popular and national movements haven't just been cheerleader exclusively by , but by nationalists, , social democrats, religious groups, and conservative groups as well.

Many are lead by coalitions.

It's the task of the to unite with other groups when short term goals align, and struggle against them in order to keep the movement on the path towards .

Just because a group of people participated in the original and helped to make it happen doesn't necessarily mean they are dedicated communists.

There were numerous "old " that actively conspired against the construction of and sought to seize power for themselves and enact their own political agenda.

's wing of the party struggled hard against the and and class-alien elements. He wasn't the only one struggling, it was a group of tendencies that struggled against one another.

just happened to be the winner in the end.

And it's a good thing he did win, the wouldn't have lasted past the 1940's were it not for Stalin's government.

Since, they just brought back the . Whether or not it will be enforced has yet to be seen. Needless to say, it is far easier to get a group of teenagers against their will to than those whom volunteer of their own volition.

I am a Marxist-Leninist, and I am somewhere in between Stalinism and Trotskyism. I can see benefits in some aspects of Stalin's form of governance, but there were also many things that Stalin did that I'm against, such as his extremely idiotic rejection of Mendelian Genetics through his promotion of the pseudoscientific concept of Lysenkoism, which led to the imprisonment, exile, and execution of many prominent scientists and severely set back biological research in Russia. 1/2

@Faithslayer202

That is just one instance of how Stalin harmed the Soviet Union and its citizens, but I'd like to ask you, why is it that you believe that the Soviet Union couldn't have lasted without Stalin in control? 2/2

"There is very good reason to believe that a significant number of the military would side with a popular revolution against the US government."

(1a) What's "a significant number"? 1%, 50% or 80% - ballpark for me.
(1b) How did you arrive at that number?

(2) What percentage of the military siding with popular revolution is required for the revolution to succeed?

(3) What makeup of specialisation is required for (2)? Does a 90% infantry outweigh 5% Air Force, for example?

@Faithslayer202

The GQP will reinstall the military draft..not a joke
