I just re-watched "V for Vendetta" and (cringe Guy Fawkes mask wearing edgelords aside) it's amazing how this timeline is starting to parallel the lead up to the plot of this film... (not a covid conspiracy) but fascists coming into power... election results that were unexpected...
LGBTQIA+ people living in fear of being deleted... xenophobia, racism, bigotry.
people being oppressed at the whims of a tyrannical government who doesn't have their interests in mind and dosen't even pretend to anymore...
My sisters and brothers from across the pond on terf Island have been living with this reality for years now... it all makes me sick...
