@HarriettMB @Lazarou I think a lot of the protest voters are themselves corrupt, they are often working for petit bourgeoisie subcontractors that charge the public sector inflated prices for building and maintenance work, and are dependent on this system for their livelihoods (hence why Reform's policies have a significant element of PFI contracts for the "half nationalised" public utilities)
