@flockofnazguls@mastodon.flockofnazguls.com It definitely looks like a blown electrolytic capacitor- you can see the oily substance leaking around it. Since it’s a thru-hole component, it would be easy to solder and replace. Make sure to find the exact component, replace with the exact polarity and find a data sheet with the maximum temperature rating. You can use a soldering iron (a cheap Chinese one with temperature control will do) and make sure to apply flux paste before soldering 1/2

@botvolution @Number1SummerJam @flockofnazguls 10R would be a resistor not a capacitor. Can you ask the manufacturer what component it is? Better to be 100% certain before you swap it.
