Finished earlier this year, "Chronographia" by Michael Psellos.
A history of 14 emperors & empresses of the Byzantine Empire in the 11th Century. Written by Michael Psellos who was a high ranking official in the Byzantine court.
I like Roman history, but I'm not that familiar with Byzantine history & emperors & empresses.
This was an audiobook & was a difficult listen, because of the numerous non-familiar names.
I think this would be better as a physical book.
