I've been working hard selecting tools for my beginners woodworking toolkit.
You know what I've realised?
I overthink a lot. I get caught up in the detail trying to find the “perfect” tool.
But it doesn't matter!
These aren't the last tools I will buy
@TheWoodworkingShed Still, try to buy the best tool you can afford. It's worth it!
@Jason844
Absolutely. But not spend so much time on what "the best" is
@TheWoodworkingShed I agree! Furthermore, after I've used an okay tool for a while, I have much better understanding of what I want in its replacement.
@kbob
Exactly! So easy to get sucked into trying to find the perfect tool.
It's quite a task when you're inexperienced.
And my perfect tool and your perfect tool...
Unlikely to be the same.
