Would certainly be an interesting device. I'm not sure I can stand two years of rumors and commentary on what it might or might not be though.

@WarnerCrocker As of January his newsletter goes paid only, I won't pay for it. No doubt, all the big-name pundits will and we'll have to listen to them go on and on about it. Yuck.
I love the iPad because it's durable. A foldable form factor just seems to add a possible breakpoint. Benefit is it fits in a pocket or, if larger, a huge screen can be folded to fit a backpack? But, realistically, who's going to buy that given the weight? Seems like a very niche product.
@dennyhenke I agree it will be. a very niche product, if it even makes it to market.
As for the Gurman's newsletter, I'll miss it a bit, but every Mac publication regurgitates everything anyway, so any salient info won't take too long to surface.
But lord help us on the avalanche of rumors on this new rumor.
@WarnerCrocker @dennyhenke rumors of foldable whatevers from Apple are pretty much monthly. I don’t think they’ll ever do one.
Few people want these.
I have to say, of all the problems I've had with iPad's over the years, being unable to fold it in half has not been one of them.
Maybe that's just me.
