@arstechnica omfg wait, so all those Nintendo DMCA takedowns that were suspicious a while back.... they WERE fake after all? holy crap
@yellow @arstechnica Yes, indeed. And Nintendo received undeserved blame for it. Apperently this goes on since 2018 even. At least to some degree. Many YouTubers only found out about it this year.
@justus61 @arstechnica do you know if this includes the whole ordeal with PointCrow? where he almost lost his channel, supposedly cause of Nintendo not wanting modded gameplay (and considering a NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE a modded gameplay video)
@yellow @arstechnica Could be. I know about Kaze Emanuar and the German YouTuber Domtendo being affected though. Both because of modding/emulation. Both thought for a long time that it’s Nintendo doing it.

@bonno @arstechnica
That’s neat, but what does it have to do with the article?
@dan @bonno @arstechnica YouTube bad; use thing make it good
@MisterMoo @dan @arstechnica not giving youtube money is better than giving it money
@arstechnica YouTube won’t change its shitty policies because they don’t care.
@arstechnica sure, google will get right on that.
