In Pokémon Red and Blue, there was a famous glitch Pokémon called MissingNo. If you encountered it, your inventory items would get duplicated. Players quickly figured this out and started hunting for MissingNo. on purpose to score unlimited Rare Candies and Master Balls.

@bengakai I did this so often, I'd get masterballs, rare candies, max potions, etc. I even tried catching a missingNo. And leveling it up until it evolved, which was lucky that it didn't crash my game lol
