@benroyce Yes, that is the thing that has gotten so many people steamed up. The other thing is the D's allow Bernie and AOC to speak for them and don't counter their "Socialism" talk. I come from Cuban immigrants and they will always vote against even the hint of Socialism. So will a lot of others. Socialism doesn't have to look like Cuba. It can look like Sweden or Canada.
Unrestrained capitalism, however, always tends to look like America.
Who imposed punishing trade restrictions on Cuba, BTW, and made it an impoverished, stressful place to be.

I'm sorry, those countries are not Socialist, Cuba is one of the only Socialist countries in the world and is a prime example of how it doesn't work.
