One week after stopping all activity on #instagram, still some more followers (despite clear message that I switched to #Pixelfed)...
But why? I will not follow back, not post anything more and not even like any of your shot/reel/story...
@cirillux Hello ! I am currently comparing alternatives to Instagram. I can't figure out some things. Among other things, do you know more about Pixelfed's settings? For example, are they respectful of the data from our photos that we integrate, proving our copyright ? Or like Instagram and Facebook, when we publish on them, is this data deleted ? Thanks in advance.
@cecileguillaumebrissonnier hi, i did not try to embed copyright information in the metadata of my pictures, but I understand that they should remain if any. Note that this may depend on the server you choose. You may also simply add "(c) your name" to the description.
In fact my main protection is the fact that I upload low resolution pics. You can only watch them on your phone but you can't really print them...
@cirillux Thank you very much. Yes I also add my copyright to each of my pics and I also only post low resolution photographs so that they are not printable.
