Not enjoying this ad in System Settings that can't be dismissed unless you actually open Image Playgrounds.
Wonder if there is some project manager who thinks Apple is tracking their success by number of first launches.
@colincornaby Honestly, everyone loves beating up on Microsoft, but a clean installation of Win 11 is _less_ irritating than what Apple does. There are a few icons for stupid apps (e.g. Candy Crush, Facebook, etc.) that aren't even actually downloaded unless you click; they're easy to remove.
As far as dark patters around privacy and tracking, they're about the same, and MS, like Apple, lets you turn it all off if you look closely.
Both try to bully you into creating an account, but both allow you to bypass it if you try hard enough.
But MS isn't putting ads _directly into the OS_ the way Apple is. Once you clean up Windows, you're done. Not so with MacOS/iOS, where every single update brings new red badges in settings.
@colincornaby @joesteel ah, nd o way to dismiss this without opening?

@fabienmarry @joesteel Not that I found.
@colincornaby Bet someone’s bonus is tied to that
