Willfully defying engagement has been the most productive and personally gratifying thing I’ve done recently.
It’s like seeing The Matrix if it was comprised of rage bait, AI slop, dead internet theory become real, and many well-intentioned people succumbing to the dopamine addiction loop of all of it.
Mindfulness about how you feel when consuming media, news, social feeds, etc. and choosing to step back if it isn’t truly adding to your real life may be more nourishing than you’d think.
